We are Beady

Behind Beady are 3 dads who have never stopped playing and having fun. That's why Beady is both developed and produced in Denmark. Since we started developing Beady it has quickly evolved. We are proud that Beady is now available in major chain stores and well-known webshops, and that we have been nominated for the Children in the City Award for Family App of the Year two years running. But most of all, we are happy that so many share our joy of playing with beads and going on adventures in our endless, magical bead universe.

How Beady works

Beady is so easy that anyone can join in.

  1. 1. Download Beady the app. It's free to download.
  2. 2. Choose whether you want to make a Pattern in the app, draw a pattern or take a picture
  3. 3. Place the plates on your tablet or phone
  4. 4. Follow the instructions in the app. The pegs light up where the beads should be placed
  5. 5. The icon system makes it easy to find the right colours
  6. 6. Swipe the pattern and use the squeegee to loosen the pattern from the plates

Creative screen time

We're big fans of both new digital possibilities and good old-fashioned play. And with Beady we've found a great combination, where the digital possibilities create a framework to do even more with the classic gems. Screen time doesn't have to be a bad thing, and it's even easier to be together while playing with beads. Help each other with big patterns or build on each other's. With Beady, screen time is all about creativity and fun.

Create your own Patterns

With Beady Photo and Beady Paint you can start creating your own bead patterns. Use Beady Photo to take pictures of your dog or your best friend, then let the Beady app automatically turn the photo into a bead pattern. With the Beady Paint drawing application, you can design patterns of whatever you want, design further on the app's patterns or something completely different. The possibilities are endless.

At the same time, the app helps all the way, so even the littlest ones can get involved.
